Florida State University Panhellenic Association 2015 Recruitment Counselor Application Job Description -Recruitment Counselors must be able to attend a mandatory class (Wednesday 4pm - 6pm) during the Spring 2015 semester. -Recruitment Counselors must participate in a mandatory Retreat, held tentatively February 6th-7th, 2015. -Recruitment Counselors must be able to begin work at the beginning of Spirit Week and continue until the end of Recruitment week. -Recruitment Counselors are expected to completely disassociate themselves from their sorority during the summer, Spirit Week, and Recruitment week. Wearing Greek letters will NOT be tolerated. Letters must also be removed from cars during this time. -Recruitment counselors must properly deactivate their Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. accounts from date agreed upon until Bid Day 2015. -Recruitment Counselors must exemplify an unbiased, Panhellenic attitude at all times. -Recruitment Counselors must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. No information concerning a potential new member will be relayed to anyone outside of Recruitment Staff. -Recruitment Counselors are required to sign a contract detailing their obligations. Breaking the contract will result in immediate termination. -Must be enthusiastic with a positive attitude towards all sorority experiences. -Must represent the best qualities of a Panhellenic sorority woman. Qualifications for Applying -Include $20 application fee. -Must maintain a minimum cumulative FSU GPA of 2.8. -Must have participated in Recruitment as a member of your sorority. -Must be in good standing, both financially and academically, within your chapter. -Must complete a form of recommendation from chapter president and any peer in the Panhellenic community of your choosing. -Must not be an Orientation Leader for the 2015 summer. A mandatory Recruitment Counselor Informational will be held on October 2nd in the Bellamy Building, room 180, at 6:30p and 8:00p.
