We are following this community through CAFOD’s Connect 2. The display in the Friary porch will give information about the people and CAFOD’s work there. £200,000 per year is spent in El Salvador on life-changing work, in agriculture, reducing the risk of disasters, HIV and Aids and creating peace. Between January and March 2011, we collected £1,658.20 which has been acknowledged with thanks, followed by £2337.01 collected between April to June. Many thanks for your generosity. DABCEC & Jubilee Coordinator Post: The Diocesan Centre known as DABCEC (Diocese of Arundel & Brighton Christian Education Centre) is the base for its Pastoral Team, Schools Office, Communications and Bookshop. The Diocese is looking to appoint a Coordinator, who will be responsible to the Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Affairs, for the effective, economic running of the Centre as a support to the work of the various diocesan agencies, users and visitors. The Diocese will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2015 and in the preparation years for the Jubilee and in the Jubilee year itself, he/she will be responsible for the coordination of activities & materials relating to this important Diocesan milestone.
