Access Taster Afternoon

Access to HE Diploma Students
A Taster Afternoon for current Access to HE students interested in applying for
any of the above subjects at The University of Nottingham.
The event will include an academic session as well as information, advice and
guidance on course choices, entry requirements and applying. Students will also
have the opportunity to chat to current University students and take part in a
campus tour if desired.
There are six strands to the afternoon:

Social Work, Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology

History and other humanities subjects

Law

Business Studies

Engineering

Science – including information on Medical Physiology and
Therapeutics, Psychology and Biosciences
The sessions will be informative for students who are not certain about which
course they wish to pursue at university as well as those who are set on their
choices.
