Sonneborn Refined Products seeks candidates with an interest in Summer Internship
and/or Co-op opportunities as a Lab Technician at its Petrolia, Pa. facility.
Ideally, you will have:
 Completed three years of undergraduate studies
 Major in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
 Basic knowledge of college-level chemistry and chemical names/terminology
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and Demonstrated computer ability
However, you are also encouraged to apply, if you have:
 Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies
 Recently been awarded your B.S. degree
 Major in Environmental Engineering or Science, Mechanical Engineering, Petrochemical
Engineering, or similar studies.
Lab Technician activities typically include:
 Perform chemical analyses, tests and determinations
 Learn and develop ability to interpret test results and determine their technical
significance
We seek candidates for both (candidate may express interest in either, or both):
 Summer Interns – classic, full time schedule in Summer months
 Co-op – working with you and your college to identify a role that fits your availability and
our needs
Co-op opportunity could begin immediately.
