To consider passing the following resolution (if necessary):RESOLVED, that in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local
Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting for
the following item of business (Item 12) in accordance with paragraph 9 of
Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

REPORT OF THE PORTFOLIO HOLDER FOR ENVIRONMENT:
IMPROVING LEISURE CENTRES – SEEKING EXTERNAL PARTNERS
DECISIONS REQUIRED:
(i)
To invite detailed proposals for the management and improvement of
Rossmore Leisure Centre, Ashdown Leisure Centre and the Dolphin
Swimming Pool;
(ii)
To invite detailed proposals in accordance with the recommendations
from the Leisure Centres Working Group; and
(iii)
To authorise the Head of Leisure Services, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder and the Heads of Legal and Financial Services, to
negotiate the final contract details with the preferred bidder.
