Minimum Impact Considerations
We will be adhering to the following minimal impact practises:

No soap, shampoo or toothpaste will be used in rivers and creeks.

A ‘Slops Pit’ will be dug at the campsite and washing up water, toothpaste, etc will be
disposed of in this pit. There is to be no food scraps in the pit.

All rubbish including food scraps will be placed in garbage bags and taken out later.

Feminine hygiene products would be wrapped up and put in the garbage bag.

Toileting will be at least 100 m from rivers and creeks. A trench style toilet will be dug
and filled in when you leave the campsite.

There will be a small shovel and hand-washing bowl provided. Please wash your hand
after toileting and before preparing or cooking food.

There is an open fire ban at wild campsites in Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.

Care would be taken in the campsite to reduce damage to vegetation.

There will be no throwing of rocks or scratching on rock while in the LeeuwinNaturaliste National Park.

All food and rubbish should be secured before going to bed to prevent it being eaten
by animals.
