Skokan, President & CEO 2-89 3-92, 12-95, 4-02, 08-03, 4-05, 7-07 06-06 1. STORAGE: The residential vehicle will be kept at the designated Progress Industries (P.I.) site. The vehicle is not to be kept at another site overnight unless prior approval has been granted by the Residential Administrator. 2. KEYS: The keys to the vehicles will be kept at the designated site. The person driving the vehicle will be responsible for returning the keys. 3. DRIVERS LICENSE: Each employee who drives the vehicle must possess a valid Iowa Drivers license (a chauffeur’s license is not required). Each employee will be personally responsible for any fines incurred as a result of driving or parking violations. In addition, no employee is permitted, under any circumstances, to operate the vehicle with an impairment caused by illness, medication, or intoxication. 4. USE OF VEHICLE: When agency vehicles are available, employees should use agency vehicles before their personal vehicles. Employees are not permitted to use the vehicle for non-business purposes. 5. MAINTENANCE: Employees using the vehicle are responsible for proper maintenance and must report malfunctions or maintenance requirements to their supervisor, as well as to the staff person assigned to monitor and/or maintain P.I.’s fleet. 6. FUEL: Unleaded gasoline should be purchased at the designated location. A credit card is available at the location, but also requires an approved purchase order. Staff will use self-service whenever it is available. 7. CLEANLINESS: Eating and drinking will not be allowed in the vehicles unless approved by the manager. Employees using the vehicle will be responsible for cleaning out any garbage left in the vehicle upon returning it to the assigned site. Smoking is not permitted in any P.I. vehicle. 8. ACCIDENTS: Do not move vehicle until authorized by notified authorities. Employees must report any accident regardless of the extent of the damage or injuries involved. The report must be made as soon as possible to the manager, but no later that 24 hours after the accident. Employees are expected to cooperate fully with the authorities in the event of an accident. However, employees should not make any voluntary statements other than in response to questions by investigating officers.
