OF THE CITY OF VON ORMY
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Von
Ormy, will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 7:00 P.M. at the Parish Hall of Sacred
Heart Catholic Church 13466 IH 35 South, Von Ormy, Texas. The following items will
be discussed to wit:

seeking to operate within the City of Von Ormy.

Von Ormy as “no thru” zone for heavy axle tractor trailers.

28) Discuss and consider amendment of Ordinance 2008-3 to include a clause
regarding amendment of the agenda formulation process, requiring a 2/3 vote, and
public hearing for revision, adding a severability clause.

29) Discuss and consider a resolution declaring that any future road constructed on
the land described as CB 4231B BLK LOT 14 and 15023 Benton City Rd which
was sold to Southwest Independent School District for the purpose of constructing
a school within the city of Von Ormy by Goldie Little of Savannah, Georgia, shall
be known as “Joe Cross Morris Lane.”.

30) Discuss and consider adoption of policy dictating those appointed to an advisory
board by a Councilmember must be a resident of the City or the City’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, those appointed to an advisory board by the Mayor must be
a resident of the City or the City’s extra-territorial jurisdiction or possessing
special knowledge concerning the area of appointment.

31) Discuss and consider adopting a Vacancy Rule concerning Council-appointed
advisory boards such that should an appointment not be made in a certain number
of days that appointment may be filled by the Mayor.

a) 551.072 Discuss and consider negotiations with SAWS for provision of
sanitary sewer service.

members from 9 members to 7 members with each Councilmember responsible

Code Review Board.
