Yazaki North America Supplies EDS System for 2011 Ford Fiesta
The Fiesta is Yazaki’s first global platform with Ford
CANTON, Mich., December 10, 2009 – Yazaki North America, Inc. (Yazaki), a leading
supplier of vehicle power and data solutions to the automotive industry, is supplying the
complete Electrical Distribution System (EDS), including the front Power Distribution Box
(PDB), for the highly-anticipated 2011 Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta was unveiled at the 2009 LA
Auto Show.

Fiesta, one of the most anticipated vehicle launches of the year, is our first global platform

The EDS wire harness provides point-to-point transfer of power and data to the entire
vehicle electrical infrastructure. The PDB, an integral part of the overall EDS solution,
protects the electrical circuits through fusing while distributing and switching the critical
vehicle loads.
