leading supplier of vehicle power and data solutions to the automotive industry,
today announced the retirement of president and CEO, George Perry, effective Dec.
31, 2009.
In Jan. 2000, Yazaki named Perry executive vice president, and president of its
Ford business unit. He was appointed president and COO in April 2001, becoming
the first non-Asian president in Yazaki’s history. In September, 2002, Perry was
appointed president and CEO and was made a member of the company’s Board of
Directors.
“George’s tenure at Yazaki saw the company through the most dynamic decade in

industry knowledge and experience helped Yazaki continue to grow as a strong,
diverse and operationally sound company, and we wish him luck on his future
endeavors.”
Succeeding Perry is Dieter Ehrmanntraut, president and CEO of Yazaki Europe
