In accordance with the requirements of the above Regulations, the PPC application was subject to a period of public notice which ended on 30 August 2013. Representations received from consultees and the public are summarised below Summary of the representations received and taken into consideration: a) No comments or objections were received by DECC. As there were no objections received from the public or consultees, DECC has now completed its review of the PPC application and considered your responses to the requests for additional information arising from our review. I am therefore able to confirm that no further information is required. DECC is now satisfied that the offshore combustion installation will be operated in accordance with the principles that are required by regulation 7(3)(a) to (g). As required under regulation 8(1), the Department hereby gives notice of the approved application and the granting of a permit which is valid from 09 July 2014. DECC-OGED Permit Issue Notice In accordance with the requirements of the above Regulations, 8(2), the Secretary of State is required to publish the decision to approve the above project.
