THE HOLDEN ARBORETUM
14th Annual Members Amateur Photography Exhibit
September 4 – October 24, 2010
Exhibit Rules:
• Entries must be 8" x 10" (11” x 14" matted in either black or white).
• Entries may be color, black & white, or digitally manipulated.
• All photographs must be taken on The Holden Arboretum grounds within the last 3 years. Please
remember to respect access rules to restricted areas. The Holden Arboretum holds the right to decline any
photo at any time as some restrictions apply.
• Exhibit is open to all amateur photographers who are current Holden members placed in the following
divisions: Adults ages 18 and up
Juniors ages 17 and under
• Each entrant must complete, sign and submit the Official Entry Form (below).

Each photo must have the Entry Label securely attached to the back lower right corner of each photo.

Photos must not be labeled on the front with any information.

Photos may only be submitted between the dates of August 1 through August 29, 2010. All entries must be
received at the Corning Visitor Center by 5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 29, 2010.
• Maximum of five total entries per person.
• $4 entry fee for each photograph submitted. Proceeds from this exhibit support the mission of The Holden
Arboretum.

Two exhibit awards, People’s Choice and President’s Choice, will be given in both the adult and junior
category.
• Winners will be announced at the Awards Reception to be held at 2pm-3pm on Sunday, October 3, 2010.
• Photographs can be claimed between October 27-November 30, 2010. Photos not claimed between those dates
will become the property of The Holden Arboretum.
• If you would like your entry to be considered for future Holden postcard, calendar, magazine and promotional
use, please send the jpeg file for your picture to khawley@holdenarb.org.
