Competencies can be scored as follows:
a.As percentage expectation of achieving the competencies:
Year 1, 30% ; year 2 ,50%; year , 70%; year 4, 100%.
b. A verbal description,
Year 1 , acting at a level requiring supervision with some independent procedures , some unsupervised
patient contacts, Year 2 , at least half of procedures unsupervised and at least half of patient contacts
unsupervised , year 3 , three quarters of procedures independent, three quarters of patient contacts
unsupervised.Year 4 working at the level of an independent specialist.
