The Secretary/Treasurer chairs the IEEE-UA Finance and Budget Committee and represents IEEE-USA on the IEEE Finance Committee. Term: One year with the possibility for election to a second successive one-year term, subject to a maximum continuous service of six years in any combination of Secretary/Treasurer or Vice President positions. Vice President - Career Activities: Responsible for coordination of career-related, including oversight of IEEE-USA Career and Workforce Policy, Intellectual Property, and Licensure & Registration Committees and the Professional Development Conference. Career Activities encompasses both the development and delivery of careerrelated products and services and public policy advocacy on career-related issues. Serves as a voting member of the IEEE-USA Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Finance & Budget Committee. Term: One year with the possibility for election to a second successive one-year term, subject to a maximum continuous service of six years in any combination of Secretary/Treasurer or Vice President positions. Serves as a voting member of the IEEEUSA Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Finance & Budget Committee. Vice President - Professional Activities: Responsible for coordinating the IEEE-USA’s Professional Activities, PACE Government Activities, and Student Professional Awareness Committees. Serves as a voting member of the IEEE-USA Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Finance & Budget Committee. Vice President - Technology Policy Activities: Responsible for coordination of technology policyrelated activities and budgets, including oversight of IEEE-USA’s Communications and Information, Energy, Medical Technology , R&D and Transportation & Aerospace Technology Policy Committees. Serves as a voting member of the IEEE-USA Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Finance & Budget Committee. Serves one year with the possibility for election to a second successive one-year term, subject to a maximum continuous service of six years in any combination of Secretary/Treasurer or Vice President positions. These are the officers who will direct the day-to-day operations, provide the leadership for the committees, and oversee the financial and entrepreneurial activities of IEEE-USA. Positions are demanding of time and judgement. Availability of adequate time to participate is an important consideration for the candidates’ selection. Enthusiasm, vigor, creativity, and dedication to the purposes of IEEE-USA are among the most important considerations. All nominees must be at IEEE Senior Member grade or higher and must be from IEEE U.S. Regions 1-6.
