VI. ACTION
A. Approval of Proposed IEEE-USA Resolution on "The Need to Improve an
Employment Listing Product as a Member Service"
IEEE Vice President for Publications Services and Products Michael Lightner
briefed the Board on the status and future plans for the IEEE Job Site (Attach.
VIA2).
Jean Eason reported on the discussions within the IEEE Job Listing Ad Hoc
Committee and offered additional background on the job listing service.
Following discussion of a proposed resolution (Attach. VI-A), the Board approved
an amended motion that unless appropriate action is taken by the IEEE Job
Listing Service to rectify problems in the next six months that IEEE-USA will
reinstate the IEEE-USA Job Listing Service.
