RESPONSIBILITES: The ideal candidate has a strong background in VB.NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft Visual Studio technologies software development. This candidate will play a critical role in the customization, implementation, and ongoing support of the Personify association management system which is based in these technologies. Particular duties, tasks and responsibilities of the position include: Work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Collaborate with other programmers, designers, and system administrators to integrate software solutions that support the business needs of the organization. Perform all functions in the web software development life cycle (specification, analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, maintenance, and support) with particular focus on software related to the “Personify” association management system. Maintain and support existing software systems including producing and maintaining program and user documentation. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and provide technical support. Research emerging software products, languages, standards, and other technologies in support of the business needs of the organization. Develop software development project plans, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, and implementation. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with deadlines are required. QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge with 4-6 years’ experience of the following is required: Visual Basic (VB.NET), SQL Server relational database, Microsoft Visual Studio Working knowledge with any of the following is desired: “Personify” Association Management Software from TMA Resources, DotNetNuke, Internet Information Services (IIS), Perl, C, or Java programming languages, Apache Web Server, Linux, JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: This position requires minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer-related major from an accredited Institution or commensurate experience.
