BYU Test Proctoring
BYU courses include a final exam that must be proctored by a BYU-certified proctor.
Upon completion of a course, students must order the final exam. The student’s counselor should be
the selected proctor. Please allow two weeks from the time of ordering to the anticipated testing date.
Students must request the exam prior to the course expiration date, and must complete the exam
within one month.
Test administration is available on the following dates:
ORDER TEST MINIMUM TWO WEEKS BEFORE TEST DATE.
October: The non-student Friday in early October. Mandatory test start time 9:00 a.m.
January: The non-student grading day that follows the last final exam day of the semester.
Mandatory test start time 9:00 a.m.
March: The non-student day in March. Mandatory test start time 9:00 a.m.
o
Please check in with your counselor to confirm the above dates and testing location at SC.
For any other testing times, students must make their own arrangements for proctoring.
Tests may be proctored at the community college testing centers for a fee. This may be most helpful
for students who choose to complete a course in the summer. Look for “Proctored Tests” on the
various testing center web pages. Call the testing center to discuss the process for signing up for a
proctored test.
