CTC Tender: CTC/12-13/PIE/019 - PIE Modular Custody Facilities
Design, build, deliver and the installation of modular custom built detention facility that can accommodate
the housing and separation of male, female, juvenile, and emotionally or mentally distressed persons.
1. Summary Structural Requirements

Designed to be mounted on a solid concrete foundation

Security Windows that provide adequate natural lighting
2. Summary Design Requirements

1 x Kitchen to store and prepare the distribution of detainee meals
2.2.
1 x Staff Lunch room with kitchenette
2.3.
2 x interview rooms (Audio & Video recording enabled – Provision of spec’s will be needed)
2.4.
1 x Controlled – Closed Visits Room
2.5.
8 x Cells for Males (Dual Bunk )
2.6.
4 x Cells for Females (Dual Bunk )

2 x Cells for Juveniles(Dual Bunk )

2 x Cell for special Mental or Health needs detainees

NOTE: The structural, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems are to be designed and installed in
accordance with the Cayman Islands Laws, Regulations and relevant codes.
3. Air Conditioning Requirements
3.1.
Cooling systems should be capable of maintain a temperature of 74 Degrees and maximum
60% humidity in the Cells and office space.
3.2.
Air temperature may be verified by a handheld electronic thermometer.
3.3.
Commercial Grade equipment with a Minimum of 15 Seer efficiency (Or higher)

Physically Separate Standalone 6 Cell Unit – with custodian office/kitchenette, shared secured
shower facilities.
4.2.
Physically Separate Standalone 4 Cell Unit – with custodian office/kitchenette, shared secured
