Sales of emergency call and life safety systems to companies and organizations that own
or manage assisted living and independent living communities throughout the United
States. This new territory was built from the ground up through months of research and
prospecting. In the first eight months on the job, I met with about 90 of the approximately
200 prospects in these two markets. Attended regional and national trade shows
throughout the year.
1999 – 2000
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (Florida) – Charrette Corporation (Woburn, MA)
Sales of traditional design supplies, digital graphic small format printers and digital large
format plotters and printers (Hewlett Packard and Encad primarily) to both current and new
accounts (approximately 1250+). I received all 5’s (5 being “Outstanding”) on my yearly
evaluation.

Before I worked in sales or consulting, I did various administrative work for a variety of
companies through a variety of temporary agencies. My work included everything from
general receptionist work to working as an Administrative Assistant to being an
Executive Secretary to a V.P. of Ops. at an international architectural & interior design
firm for nearly 2 years, to working as an Office Manager for an on-site construction
company assisting in the building of the (new) court house in downtown Orlando for
nearly a year. I have also trained co-workers on how to use Windows, the Internet, and
Microsoft Office Suite. I type 100+ words a minute and can type from a Dictaphone. I
am an "expert" at both, as well as with various CRM softwares including SalesForce,
ACT, Goldmine, and SAP.
