Chemical peels, derma roller (micro needling) and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to improve the skin's
appearance are some of the most popular non invasive treatments in the UK today and are very easy to

Our comprehensive training course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to
provide these treatments, covering all aspects from core knowledge including a skin anatomy and
physiology, skin problems and “hands on” practical.
Chemical peel treatment uses an acid to remove the outer layers of the skin and are commonly used in
the face or backs of hands to improve rough skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, sun
damage, blemishes, scars or acne and actinic keratosis (precancerous skin growth).
Derma roller treatment uses skin needling to stimulate tissue regeneration and is used in particular for
scarring, wrinkles, hair loss, open pores, pigmentation, stretch marks.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has a long history of use in medicine for delayed wound healing and as
enhancers in many types of surgical procedures. More recently, this cutting edge therapy has become
popular with the general public and A list celebrities for facial rejuvenation as the list of benefits
grows.
PRP uses the patients own blood to regenerate skin and to rejuvenate collagen, with the aim of
producing a vibrant, youthful look for men and women. PRP is enriched with platelets and growth
factors and once injected into skin; these substances will accelerate the normal healing process via new
collagen formation at the injected area. PRP treatment is safe and downtime is minimized.

Jane is an aesthetic nurse practitioner with over 20 years experience of providing advanced
non-surgical treatments and is based at La Belle Forme Clinic. Jane regularly delivers medical
aesthetic training courses at advanced and foundation level, she has great enthusiam for her
subject and this reflects in the feedback she receives from course delegates. She has worked
for major cosmetic health care providers in the UK, performing a wide range of innovative
non-surgical treatments. Jane is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic,
Independent Nurse Prescriber, a member of the RCN and holds a certificate in Dermatology
