Professor Inna Stecenko is Science prorector and director of the doctoral program Regional Economics and Economic Policy. Prof. Stecenko holds a doctoral degree in economics and is the professor in Regional Economics. Prof. Stecenko is a graduate of the Department of Engineering and Economics of Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineering. Prof. Stecenko obtained her first-level doctoral degree from Riga Aviation University. Prof. Stecenko defended her second-level doctoral dissertation at Saint-Peterburg University of Engineering and Economics. In 1995 prof. Stecenko became Doctor of economics in Latvia and was elected lecturer and subsequently senior lecturer at Riga Aviation University. In 1998 she became an acting director of the program Economics of Entrepreneurship. In 1999 she became Associate Professor and Director of the undergraduate program in Economics at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute. In 2000 she was elected Associate Professor and Director of the program International Management at the Baltic Russian Institute. In 2005 she became BIA Associate Professor in Regional Economics. In 2006, she defended her doctoral dissertation at Saint-Petersburg University of Economics and Finance. In 2008 she became Professor at Higher Shcool of Social Administration in Warsaw, Poland. In 2009 she became BIA Professor in Regional Economics. Since 2009 prof. Stecenko has been the Director of the doctoral program in Regional Economics and Economic Policy. Prof. Stecenko is a member of the editorial board of two journals www.managementjournals.com, the United Kingdom, and www.ipma.com, the United Kingdom
