Our guest artist, Tanya Veit was such a hit. We had
visitors from 3 states that were filled with excitement about
all the tricks they learned. We were all twitching by the time
the classes had finished.

We are working on putting together a stained glass clock
class for late July.
I will be traveling in June to Austin for my annual Glass
Fest, and will bring all the new ideas and techniques back
with me. Melissa will be here to help you while I'm away.

Melissa will set the fusing table up for pendant making, and
will enjoy your company! If you have taken the fused pendant
class and are confidant in your cutting skills, this is a great way
to make those holiday gifts. It is never too early to get these
done. We will set the table up with fusable glass and pre-cuts,
so you can work independently to create your fused
masterpieces. We ask that you call and let us know when you
want to come in, and that you make at least 8 pieces!

Coming this Summer!
In this 3 week session you will learn to cut,
foil, grind, solder and frame a stained glass
panel. Although the project is small, it will
work you thru each step of the entire process,
and most students will continue developing
skills in their own home studio. You will
choose from one of 8 patterns for your first
experience. We will provide all the tools,
instruction, and clear glass you need to
complete your first project. You may purchase
colors separately. Choose a pattern and your
glass prior to the class. $25 deposit to secure your space. Four Students, Three weekly
sessions. Aprox 3.5 hrs per session. Call for Wait list!
These sessions are the last time we will offer this class at this price. We find that it takes
longer than we budgeted for and will be raising the price to $130.00 after July.

Glass Cutting 101

This is where it all starts! Glass cutting is the
basic skill that is required for most glass media
projects. During this class you will learn the
basics of glass cutting including tools, safety,
pattern cutting, and grinding. Whether you are
doing stained glass, mosaics, or plan on fusing,
classes are geared towards the needs of the
students. By the end, you will have cut straight
pieces, circles, and everything in between. No
experience necessary.

This is the WOW class of the year
This 11" square basket would look
great on any table, and is fairly easy
to build. You just need to select two
complimentary colors, cut your strips
and assemble!
The spaces in between are empty
and create a basket weave effect.
We have other samples in other
colors in the studio for your viewing
pleasure. This class always fills very
quickly, so don't hesitate! Most
people purchase 2 sheets of fusing
glass. ($30-45)

Everyone wants to make something big and shiny!
Well here is your chance to create dynamic art on a
large fused project that requires no experience! In
this 2 hour workshop you will use Coarse Frit (glass
chips) to create a simple design using our wide
selection of patterns. We will do all the hard cutting,
and will include the kiln firing and all glass! You do
the artwork!
Choose from a 10" circle or square. Stand not
included.

These 3" x 12" window ornaments
will "de-lite" you all year long. We
made an example for each season,
but you may do whatever style you
want. Instruction, clear base glass,
use of our class bin glass, and
firing included. If you have time and
want to make more than one, each
extra is $35.00. Glass cutting skills
desirable but not required. Pre-cuts
available for purchase!
We had 6 people on May 30th and
they came up with some of the
cutest designs. Even mosquitoes!

Beginner
Introduction to Fusing - Fused Pendant $95.00
This is one our most popular beginning classes! Formal
instruction and all materials are in cluded in this
professional introduction to glass fusing.! We open with a
45 minute lecture and show and tell about the basic
concepts of glass fusion theory. Then, you will create 10
glass cabochons that you may make into pendants or
magnets. Prism will fire your pieces and they will be
available for pick up a few days later. Basic bails are
included. No experience required. Glass Cutting 101 is
recommended, but not required. (Private party arrangements and accommodations for
larger groups available!)

This seminar is great for
anyone who owns or plans on
owning a kiln. We will discuss
ordering, setup, testing and
running your kiln. There will be
special emphasis on programming,
care, and shelf materials. There
will be a Q & A session to help
with individual needs. It's a great
learning experience for all you
"firing newbie's", or a great
refresher for current kiln owners.
Session lasts about 1 1/2 hours.

Just for Fun!
In this "Just for Fun" 2 hour workshop you have a
chance to make three cute creepy crawlies! We
will provide all the fusible glass, hi fire wire for the
legs, and the kiln firing. You provide the
inspiration and make your characters match your
style! Great for flower pots, hanging on lamps, or
just crawling on the table. Let's get buggy!

By popular request we are offering a
"Just for Fun" class that will appeal to
anyone you know that likes glass and
has a desk! The best thing about this
class is that you don't have to have any
experience at all to participate! We will
cut the black, white, or clear bases and
provide all the design elements you need
to create three cute gifts. Both firings and
all materials included.

event so that all of you that
don't own a kiln have the opportunity to make your own. We will cut the base glass to just
the right size and provide all the materials and design elements for your pot making
pleasure.

Create ornaments for your Holiday events.
Firing and materials are included. Use frit, scraps, dots, and your creativity to make some
beautiful decorations and/or gifts. You may create as many as can fit on our black tray, up
to 8 ornaments. Create turkeys, trees, pumpkins, leaves, diamonds, balls, snowmen,
Santas, and more! Previous fusing and basic cutting skills are required to register.
