NOTICE DO 01/13/14
SALE OF ALLOY SCRAP METALS
Swartland Municipality has redundant scrap which are hereby offered for sale.
The scrap consists of pieces alloy iron and other metals etc. but excludes copper and
aluminuim . The offer to purchase shall include loading and transport from the municipal
stores in Malmesbury after payment of the bid amount.
Bids in sealed envelopes marked “DO 01/12/13: SALE OF ALLOY SCRAP METALS” must be
placed in the tender box, Municipal Head Offices, Church Street Malmesbury before 12:00
on 26 July 2013. Bids received will be opened in public on the same day.



No faxes, E-mail or alternative tender procedure will be accepted.
Bid prices must be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days as from the closing date.
The scrap metals may be inspected at the Municipal Stores, Abattoir Street
Malmesbury on 22 July 2013

Municipality will sell off its alloy scrap metals on a quarterly basis and on the following dates.
