In the year 2000, a new era in youth bull riding was brought to life, the Texas Youth Bull Riders, Inc. A nonprofit 501 (c)3 corporation. As we enter into our tenth-year we will give some $30,000 worth of prizes, money,
buckles and the like of which are presented at the Year-End and State Finals Award Ceremonies.
The TYBR has competitors from ages 4 to 19, and is currently made up of four regions. Three in the state of
Texas. The West region in the Midland/Odessa area, Directed by Royce Baggett, the East region in the
Canton area Directed by Gary Thorp and the North region in the Fort Worth area, Directed by Danny
Malone, with the State Headquarters in Saginaw, Texas. The fourth region is in Oklahoma Directed by Ray
Walls. Currently we have 180 kids that come from Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana and Texas to compete
in our bull riding's. The Texas Youth Bull Riders are looking for corporate sponsors that want to get
involved, we welcome you to join "The Elite TEAM in Youth Bull Riding"
Our commitment is to making a difference in the lives of young people and at the same time making a
difference in the lives of those around us. There are few things more enjoyable than helping a young rider to
find strength and confidence with each passing competition. Watching a young person gain the self assurance
needed to face adversity; building friendships within such an amazing event; and, seeing a rider glow with
pride as they search the stands for their parent’s approval. This is why we do what we do.
