Dalmally Show 5th September 2009. Judge:With most of the other shows being cancelled due to the atrocious weather, it was a credit to the organisers and exhibitors that the show went ahead as an estimated two inches of rain had fallen on the picturesque show field. Once again Blackcraig Kodiac took home the overall cattle championship on his last show outing and a welldeserved rest before going to AI station. This ended a tremendous year for Willie MacLean and family, this now famous bull has won every show he has attended and is a credit to the breed by raising the breeds profile. Kodiac has proven that our native breed can compete against the popular continental breeds and because of this more interest has been shown from people wanting heifers and semen.
