Business Communications Research Paper
Requirements
Due:
December 5, 1997 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You can turn in the
paper at any time prior to December 5th. Late papers will not be accepted
for any reason. (100 points)
Format:








Paper must be typed, double-spaced, with margins of approximately one
inch.
Font must be a size 10 or 12. Use Times New Roman or a similar font.
No italicized typestyles.
Cover page should state the title of your paper and your name, the title
of the course (VOED 4303: Business Communications in Education),
Your Name, and University of Arkansas. Cover page should also have
running head information. See sample cover page.
Your title should be repeated at the top of page one. The cover page is
not counted as page one; the first page of the text is page one.
Pages should be numbered at the top right starting with the first full-text
page. Usually that will be page two, since page one will have your title.
Paper should be stapled in the upper left hand corner. Do not put the
paper in a folder. Do not use paper clips, etc.
Paper must include:
Citations from 1 book or journal article
Citations from 2 internet locations
Paper should be in the following order:
Cover page
Page 1 (the beginning of your text)
Page 2 - 5 (body will be 5 full pages) If you see that you only have
4 1/2 pages, then you are better off having 6 pages of body. Paper
must be at least 5 full pages.
Page 6 - Reference page

Margins:
The right margin should not be justified.
Leave a 1" (one inch) margin on all sides of the page.

Use quotation marks when quoting directly from the written works of
Others. Plagiarism is unethical and illegal. Any occurrence of plagiarism
will result in a grade of "O" for the assignment.
