THE POMPOSA ABBEY
Between the green plains and the sea, the
thousand-year old bell tower stands as a

The men used to leave for their fishing trips in
the lagoon and the women remained at home
in the village, a hierarchical system of control
that used to reign in their ancient stone
houses: the great chimneys, the writing desks,

nature, between eels and pink flamingos.
