III. The Scientific Programme of the 19th ENS Meeting in Milan
The Annual Meetings of the European Neurological Society are unique in that they provide an ultimate platform for the realisation of
information transfer within the various subspecialties of clinical and experimental neurology. Moreover this transmission is
international in its organisation, encompassing not only the knowledge and expertise of European neurologists, but also those
ideas, therapeutic approaches and neurological concepts originating from the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. It is hoped that
participants of the Scientific Programme of an ENS Meeting, benefit from the most advanced research results currently available,
and this within the scope of the Meeting’s venue.
No subspecialty in neurology is an island, and the pattern of interactions between various subgroups are numerous. The Scientific
Programme of the ENS facilitates an interaction between participants, and the many specialists, clinician and scientists.
