Year of Studies Autumn/Spring Semester ECTS Credits 4 Contact Hours per Week Compulsory/ Elective Scientific literature analysis, document analysis, teaching at higher Methods of Teaching educational institution observation and analysis, assistance for the lecturer, lecture, seminar (practical class) methodological material preparation, lecture reading, seminar performance. Final work assessment includes: 1. Assessment of written work; 2. Form of Assessment Assessment of defense. Final work and its defense are assessed on the basis of 10 point scale. Assessment of thesis includes student’s ability to: present the thesis in a clear, qualified manner following the regulations; answer qualification commission questions in a logic and motivated way; defend his opinion in argumentative and efficient manner; prepare and use visual aids, explain and comment on it; express his ideas in a clear, logical way, using correct language and speciality terms; use information sources. Title of the Study Program Title of the Module Faculty, Department Course Description Master thesis is student’s final study stage at university, final evaluation of knowledge acquired during the studies. Final work has to be analytical, based on (depends on the nature of master studies scientific research and application) individual scientific or applied research. It cannot be only descriptive or survey. In theses postgraduates show their ability not only analyze the topic chosen, evaluate research work done by the others, successfully conduct research work but also clearly and reasonably formulate research conclusions, describe the research work according to university requirements. Final work (project) analysis shows the level of acquired qualifications and professional readiness, level of student’s independence, creativity, ability to apply special knowledge, practical abilities and skills, ability to analyze, generalize, make suggestions, ability to use literature and other sources of information.
