THAI FRUITS AND VEGETABLES COMPANY VISIT TO SINGAPORE

Thailand and Singapore are traditional market with essential bi-lateral trade since the early turn of the
century. In the year 2010, Thailand total export to Singapore over US$8 Billion while its import from
Singapore has surged to over US$9 Billion. Thailand with abundance of natural resources, fertile land
and ideal growing conditions, Thailand's exports have enjoyed and impressive growth in recent years.
Fruits and vegetables sector has been a growing sector for both Thailand as well as Singapore. Both
fruits and vegetables export to Singapore has been on growing trend of 10 percent year on year from
global market. Thai company known as VFEG – Vegetables & Fruits Export Group Co., Ltd has been in
wholesale business for over 15 years and has the opportunity to meet a few importers in Singapore
during their visit in February 26-27, 2012 to discuss and share information on business in fruits and
vegetables.

Mr Sunny Ng of Nishen Tropical Fruits discussed for various fruits and vegetables for air freight to Singapore. Pricing and Quality is key decision.
