John. John was always a keen motorcyclist he joined the Auckland motorcycle club in 1945 and since
the time has been actively involved in the club through his racing activities, as as executive committee
member and in later years as chief scrutineer at race meetings. He was honoured for his contribution to
the club by being made a life member. His contribution to the club and motorcycling in general can not
be measured, he will definitely be missed. Our deepest sympathies go to family and friends. From the
