Thank you for your interest in the role of Investors in the Environment Programme
Coordinator with NEP Energy Services.
Please note:

This role requires a full clean driving licence valid in the UK and access to a
car.
If successful you will be joining us at an exciting time. NEPes has recently been awarded
the Queens Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development and is working closely with
many local organisations to support change throughout the whole business ecosystem
across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, driving down carbon emissions and supporting
demand driven innovation and growth in our local low carbon sector.

Degree or equivalent in a science subject, business
management or environmental management.
Training in Environmental Management Systems.
Recent graduate (last 3 yrs)- Level 5 or higher
qualification
Minimum two years experience working or volunteering in a
post relevant to environmental management.
Experience of working independently to tight deadlines and
targets with minimum supervision.
Experience of direct sales and marketing
Experience of coordinating a network and running events
Highly proficient in MS Office, especially in the use of Excel
for data analysis, however also Word, Access and Outlook.
Ability to retrieve and analyse data and present that data
clearly and professionally in a range of formats (technical
reports, briefing notes and presentations).
Understanding of current approaches, technologies and
techniques across, waste, water, buildings and behaviour
change for accounting for and reducing building CO2
emissions.
Clear understanding of climate change, sustainability and
energy agendas, national policy and current schemes and
incentives.
Excellent communication skills.
Driven to independently meet personal targets, while
collaborating in a professional multidisciplinary team.
Project management skills
Graduate or above membership of a professional body e.g.
IEMA or CIBSE (membership fees will be paid).
Understanding and commitment to Nottingham Energy

Willingness to travel across UK with some overnight stays.
