To study some facilitating subjects or BTEC qualifications you will need to have achieved an average of 40-45 points from your GCSE qualifications (mostly Cs and Bs). You will not be able to study any science or mathematics subjects at AS. To study BTEC qualifications you will need to have achieved an average of 20-39 points from your GCSE qualifications (mostly Cs and Ds). As a minimum you must have achieved four GCSEs at grade C, including English.
