8th Annual Show Case Bull and Female Sale
Cattlemen,
This is the 8th annual Bluebonnet Beef Breeders Show Case Sale and we
have great expectations. It will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at
the Washington Country Fairgrounds in Brenham, TX. A few changes have been
made, but the quality of the bulls and females consigned remain exceptional.
The sale coincides with the 38th Annual South Texas Cow-Calf Clinic, one
of the best cow-calf clinics in the state of Texas. The clinic will kick off at 8:00
a.m. on Friday.
This is a premium replacement sale with only the highest quality breeding
age bulls and replacement females offered. Our dedication, along with that of the
consignors, is to present our best cattle for your appraisal.
The bulls will be graded by a panel of expert cattlemen and sold in order of
highest grading selling first. The females (pens of 3 or more) will be judged and
placed in order of breed type. Sale order of the females will be determined by sale
management after the judging. There will be premiums awarded to the top placing
bulls and females.
All of these consignments come from some of the best producers in the
cattle industry and their cattle represent, in some cases, a lifetime of breeding.

premium sale. It will be a good paced sale with Leo Casas III as the auctioneer.
