The minutes of the last Group AGM held on the 14th November 2009 had been
circulated.
Matters Arising:
There were no matters arising and the Minutes were accepted. Proposed: George
Allingham, Seconded: Tony Weake.
Chairman’s Report: See attached
Pembrokeshire Ramblers Webmaster’s Report: Neil Bland reported that there had
been 10500 visitors to the Pembrokeshire Ramblers website in 5½ years up to 2009 but in
the last year there had been 19000 hits. Neil thanked all those who had contributed to the
website with walk reports and photographs and encouraged all walk leaders to send in
their reports. A photo gallery of previous years’ photographs had been made. Neil asked
Group members to let him know whether they preferred a gallery with a lot of photos on
a wide range of places or a gallery with fewer photos and other photos on U-tube or
Flicker.

Treasurer’s Report: See attached. The accounts had been audited by David Bowen. A
brief explanation of the accounts was given by the Treasurer. No money had been
received from Ramblers Headquarters for two years but the Group was still financially
sound. Helen Lloyd Jones reported that requests for funding could now be made to
Ramblers headquarters. Acceptance proposed: Alwyn Price, Seconded: Margaret
Sanderson
Footpath Officer’s Report: See attached. The Chairman thanked the Footpath Officer
for his report
Walks Coordinator and Membership Secretary’s Report. Karen Durham thanked
members who continued to support the Pembrokeshire Group and the walk leaders. There
were still spaces for walks on the programme for January to July 2011 and walk leaders
were asked to see Karen so that the new programme could be completed. New members
were always welcome and any ideas to attract new members into the group were
welcome. Some members had complained that the price of membership of Ramblers was
too expensive. However, for new members, Tesco Club card vouchers of £10.50 and
£14.00 could be exchanged for a year’s single or joint membership respectively.
