2. Into tubes corresponding to the libraries or phage in the table pipette 50 µl of the
corresponding library or virions.
3. If the user wants fUSE55: thaw the 10-µg/ml dilution for distribution fUSE55RF4.doc:1 (2ml screw-cap Ep tube FB42; labeled “fUSE55 RF” on cap); vortex; microfuge briefly; pipette 5
µl into the labeled 500-µl screw-cap Ep tube step 1.
4. Put the above 500-µl Ep tubes plus stab vials of K91BK and MC1061 StabVials2.doc:3
(metal rack in cupboard 60) if desired to in a padded envelope package with filled-out address
label (Drawer 57). If the package is to go to a foreign country, also affix a green customs sticker
(Drawer 57) to the package filled out as follows:

Sign your name
Mark all domestic packages “First Class” and all foreign packages “Air Mail”; fix a mail barcode
sticker (Drawer 55) to the top package; take all the packages to mail room (Rm 110); bundle all
the packages together with a rubber band, making sure the barcode sticker on the top package is
visible; put the bundle in the barcoded outgoing mail box in Rm 110.
