TRENT UNIVERSITY Department of Mathematics The Department of Mathematics at Trent University invites applications for a nine-month limited term appointment at the assistant professor level commencing August 1, 2012. This position is subject to budgetary approval. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics, with preference being given to those with research experience in Statistics. Teaching duties will include courses in probability and advanced statistics. Trent University is a small university with a commitment to high quality teaching and Research located in Peterborough, Ontario, approximately 1.5 hours northeast of Toronto.
