1. Introduction :
The Graduate Program in Biological sciences was established in 1982 and has earned a
reputation for excellence in research and teaching in the biological sciences. The
Program offers graduate study leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, with
concentration in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Morphology, Systematics,
Microbiology, and Ecology. Our faculty members have been recruited for their
outstanding academic and research accomplishments and perspectives and have a
strong record of obtaining competitive research grants from KOSEF, KRF, and other
government agencies as well as from private companies. The Program is well equipped
with fine modern facilities for every field of biological sciences.
