MEMBERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance to a member attending an approved conference.
AWARD BENEFIT:
 Recipient(s) will be awarded an amount to be established annually for meals; transportation and
lodging only, up to the approved amount.
 Recipient(s) must submit paid bills for reimbursement
ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Applicant must:
 Must be an active member in good standing for 5 consecutive years or be a Life Member
 Submit a completed application form no later than 90 days prior to the conference
 Exception: Applications for Building Safety Conference must be submitted by February 15
ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES:
 Applications are available online at newjerseyboa.com or if requested an application will be
mailed.
 The completed application must be received by NJBOA, Inc. at least 90 days prior to the event
of the year for which the scholarship is being applied for. See exception above
 Selections will be made by the scholarship committee.
 Recipient(s) will be notified of their award.
 Recipient(s) must submit proof of registration with application.
 Recipient(s) must submit proof of attendance from the conference.
 Each applicant will only be eligible for one scholarship per calendar year.
 All forms are to be submitted to the Scholarship Committee Chairman.
 Scholarships will be awarded for meals, lodging and transportation only
 Reimbursements will only be made for non-reimbursed expenses.
