Assistive Technology Consideration
IEP TEAM Meeting
Consider what assistive technology, if anything, does the student need to make effective progress and to
receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE)?
The student independently accomplishes tasks in all instructional areas using standard classroom
tools. No assistive technology is needed for the student to make effective progress and for the
student to receive FAPE.
The student accomplishes tasks in all instructional areas with accommodations and modifications.
The assistive technology already in place is working effectively. (Includes tools such as
assignment notebooks, visual schedules, and personal devices).
The student does not accomplish tasks in all instructional areas. Assistive technology tools are
known and available and the Team will trial new options. These options include (please list):

information to make an appropriate decision. Please submit a referral for a consultation.
