There are fourteen mistakes in the story. Find them and write the right words.
On Halloween night there is going to be a party at
home. Charlie is going to dress up as a vampire
and Marv and Lotta are going to wear a monster
costumes. Marv’s brother Morton is going to
wear a spider costume. Last year, Lola dressed up
as a crocodile but this year she wants a special
costume. She does not want to dress up as a
beautiful witch. She says, “Everybody is going
as a wicked witch.―
Charlie, Marv and Lola also speak about the music
there will be at the party: toffee bananas, pumpkin
pie and bat cookies. In Lotta’s living room
grows a big orange pumpkin. Lotta and her friends
are very
proud of it. In the morning before the
party, the children buy a big lantern out of
the pumpkin. They are very happy but on
the way home Marv jumps on the pumpkin
and smashes it. Morton is very excited and
Lola is very sad too, because she hasn’t
got a costume.
Then she has an orange. She makes a
costume that looks like a pumpkin lantern.
At the party everybody likes Lolaʼs
beautiful costume very much. They say,
“Mr Winkler is going to speak about
Lolaʼs costume in assembly.―
