Zoonotic Diseases
Zoonotic diseases are diseases caused by infectious agents that can be transmitted
between (or are shared by) animals and humans. You are to pick one out of the many
different zoonotic diseases and develop an individual presentation on the following
categories:







Development of disease
Transmission of disease
Preventative measures for that disease
o Vaccine
o Antibiotic
o Environment
o Etc…
Treatment after diagnosis
Damage done by disease
Photos of the infection
Symptoms
This project is due Friday March 10th. You will have Tuesday to work on it, but must be
turned in by the end of class. You will be giving a small presentation about your disease
after completion of your presentation.
You will be graded on:
Accuracy
Completion of task (bullets)
Neatness
