The Cambridge Community Services (CCS) is an integrated community and acute paediatric provision with consultants covering acute and community special interests (Child population 36,000 local, 100,000 CCS) Training will cover the areas: Core Child and Adolescent Mental Health Community Paediatrics and Neuro-developmental Disorders Paediatric Liaison Acute Paediatric on call, out of hours, throughout the 36 months Training will include: CAMHS - one day per week to include: 18 months core CAMH, General assessment clinic (Choice Clinics), ADHD clinic, daytime on-call rota for self harm in association with acute paediatrics , partnership therapy sessions with case management of anxiety and depression, experience in initiating/using psychopharmacology for common conditions servised by specialist in subject. Family therapy. Early Support initial assessment of pre school developmental disorders, Autism and language disorders (50new per annum), ADHD and behavioural disorders. Multidisciplinary assessment and therapy programs Educational and school health - Initial assessment of possible developmental disorder, DCD Aspergers, Autism and ADHD within a CAMHS Joint Care Pathway, including multi-agency work with children and families e.g. Parenting programs 123 Magic, Webster Stratton Special School clinical work managing health and behavioural needs of learning disabled 3-19 yr (350 pupils) Clinical Genetics and Paediatric Neurology: Attachment to Regional Clinical Genetics Dept/Attend DGH outreach clinic by Consultant Geneticist and Paediatric Neurologist 12 months neurodevelopment focus including Tourettes and neuropsychiatry. Joint ASC assessment clinic for school age children (ADOS), ADHD clinic, complex developmental disorders. 6 months in liaison paediatric role covering Medically Unexplained Physical Symptoms, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, working with Clinical Psychologist and Paediatrician, access to whole of Cambridgeshire population through CCS Other available training opportunities: Bowel and bladder disorder clinic (Dr Becker/Clinical Psychology), Sleep clinic Feeding to Thrive Clinic (paediatrician and psychologist and SALT) Fostering and Adoption [Cambridge shire] Dr de Cates / Cambridgeshire LAC Other specialist clinics based in Cambridge may be available according to interest and need e.g. sleep disorder clinic, eating disorder clinic, and specific chromosomal abnormality clinics. Availability to attend or receive training in: ADOS course, 3Di training, Griffiths, RCPCH Child in Mind Training Course, MSC Paediatrics Mental Health. The population of local children provide sufficient new and follow up cases to meet deanery requirements for all the conditions mentioned with consultants experienced in the management of such children. 4 Proposed Week Plan to be used flexibly during the 36 months training period Post holder would contribute to Middle grade On Call rota for Hinchingbrooke and work schedule will be within working time directive. Proposed time table will be compliant and demonstrates types of work rather than working hours.
