Leveraging Brain Research to Improve Collaboration and Change at Work Follow-up to MN ODN December 7, 2010 Presentation I offer the following information in response to several requests for and conversations regarding my presentation this past week. I invite you to connect with me for further conversation regarding social cognitive neuroscience as applied to coaching and conversation models….or any of Results Coaching Systems (RCS) public or corporate programs….at kylenowell@workplacecoaching.com. I am attaching my “Resources” slide from the presentation as requested. There were several questions regarding my utilizing social cognitive neuroscience in my coaching practice – how I do that, etc. I utilize the brain-based coaching/conversation models taught in RCS public and corporate programs as follows: 1. If you are interested in becoming a coach….or you are currently coaching and are interested in integrating brain-based models into your practice: RCS offers an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ACTP pathway meets the coaching training requirements for both the ACC and PCC credentials with the ICF. RCS coach training is all brain-based coaching. There is an Intensive Coach Training course…and continuing education and specialist education courses offered. 2. If you are working in or with an organization that is interested in creating a coaching culture, enhancing employee engagement, and/or deepening leadership development sustainability: RCS offers several corporate programs that are customized to the organization: Internal Coach Program (develops a team of internal coaches), Performance Leadership Program (develops leaders at all levels to have coaching conversations for everyday workplace conversations, performance development conversations, team collaboration and meetings) and several other offerings (Executive Coaching, Quiet Leadership, and Train the Trainer). 3. RCS is conducting a Global Coaching Study – information as follows: Be part of the world's largest study on coaching in organizations! This is the biggest study worldwide of how coaching is being used strategically by large organizations. We will be presenting findings of this worldwide study in March 2011 at the most prestigious global coaching conference, held in NYC. Click here for details about the conference. To learn more or participate in the study go to: http://www.resultscoaches.com/globalcoachingstudy/ 4. There were several people at the presentation who asked if I knew of “_____” (person or organization or methodology). I would great appreciate an email with contact information or website addresses. Many thanks! 5. For those of you who asked, RCS’ definition of coaching is “Facilitating positive change by improving thinking”. I thank you for your participation with me in bringing some of this neuroscience “to life” in practical ways…and for your engaging conversations after my presentation. I look forward to our future connections! __________________________________ Kyle MacKenzie Nowell Leadership Coach I Trainer I Mentor I Workplace Coach Associate Results Coaching Systems I North America Direct Line: +1-612-991-3541 Email: kylenowell@workplacecoaching.com _______________________________________ Develop a COACHING CULTURE http://www.workplacecoaching.com Become an EXECUTIVE or PERSONAL COACH http://www.resultscoaches.com
