Joni and Friends encourages scholarship applicants to seek other funding options in addition to applying for a
scholarship from Joni and Friends. Additional funding resources could include, but are not limited to:
Church, friends, family and local agencies. Private and public organizations: These organizations may provide
funding based on specific situations and requirements. The Joni and Friends website provides possible
resources.
Joni and Friends offers limited scholarships to individuals meeting the following requirements (pending
resources). There is no regard to race, color, gender, national origin, or age.
 Joni and Friends awards scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis.
 Joni and Friends uses available funding to award scholarships that cover a portion of each intern’s total
cost.
 Applicants participating in a Cause 4 Life internship for the first time will receive priority.
Applicants applying must have a legitimate financial need and unable to participate in a Cause 4 Life
Global Mission or Internship without assistance.
 Families must seek assistance from two (2) other sources. This can include family, friends, churches
and local agencies.
