The East Anglia Pro-Green Winter Series came to its conclusion at Mepal, Cambridgeshire on Sunday the 8th February. We have been very fortunate, the weather has been very kind to us over the whole series and Sunday was no exception, 189 riders enjoyed another great days racing in the Cambridgeshire sand and with the club starting its summer championship on the 1st of March at the same venue everyone will now be well practiced. The Autos started the day off with a brilliant win for Ashton Boughen with three straight wins, from Freddie Pitts and Spike Stevens. The Juniors went out next and Charlie Palmer had the top slot. Alfie Jones came in second and Kyle Ingram took the third place. Reece Martin dominated the Small Wheel group with wins in all three races. Kayden Algar secured the second place overall with second places in the first two races. Ben Clark got the third place overall. In a break from the norm, the Vets went out next and Glen Bixby showed his usual form with an overwhelming performance taking the overall win and three race wins. Paul Dixon had the second place and Mark Houson had the third. George Grigg-Pettit had the honours in the Seniors, with James Henderson taking the second place from Jake Edey. The Big Wheels went out next and Callum Mitchell had a decisive win overall taking the wins in all three races. Reagan Brooks had the second spot and Declan Hunter took the third place. Back to the AMX group, Ryan Osborn had the overall win and Ami Goodlad had the second place from Ben Spill.
