Hill/s Climbed – Ben Challum 1025m. (Near Crianlarich)

Weather – Cold,Windy ,cloud base 2500 – 3000 ft with clear sunny spells.
Snow Conditions – Deep and soft lower down, icy and harder
higher up the mountain.
Notes – Last minute change of plan due to poor weather forecast.
Braemar meeting cancelled in favour of Loch Tay area.
Road conditions terrible along the side of Loch Tay,impossible to drive up to Ben
Lawers visitor centre ,snow around 15” deep.
Decision reached to go to Crianlarich ,Ben Challum chosen, as the starting point is on
the main road.
Set off from 10.45am and returned 4.00pm.
