NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION
Quotation is being hereby invited from reputed Contractors for the Renovation of the
Building of the Institution of Engineers (India), North Bengal Local Centre, situated at
Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering College on ‘Labour Contract Basis’. The Quotation should
be submitted subjected to the following criterion:
(a) The Contractor should have experience in similar type of Civil construction and
renovation, prevailing to residential and semi-commercial structures for not less
than Ten years,
(b) The Contractor should submit the rate of construction/ renovation for the works of
brick work, cement mortar plaster, Neat cement punning, Anti-Termite
Treatment, fittings of Door/window, concrete jobs of various composition (M15/
M20) and similar type of jobs,
(c) The Contractor should employ labour/ Man-Power subjected to statutory laws/
rules/ bye-laws of the Govt. of West Bengal,
(d) The Contractor should have valid Income Tax, Professional Tax and other
statutory State/ Central Taxes, valid at the time of the execution of the jobs,
(e) The Contractor should adhere to the standard guidelines and technical advices
from the Under-signed from time to time,
The Quotation, completed in full, should be submitted to the Under-signed within fifteen
days at the Office of The Institution of Engineers (India), North Bengal Local Centre,
P.O. Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering College- 735102 on any working day between 11:00
A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
The Quotation shall be scrutinized by the Under-signed and suitable bidder shall be
awarded the job, subjected to the terms and conditions as prescribed above.
The Under-signed reserves the right for rejecting any Quotation without assigning any
reason thereof.
The details of the Jobs of Renovation, etc., can be had from the Office of the Institution
of Engineers (India), North Bengal Local Centre on any working day between 11:00
A.M. to 4 :00 P.M.
