To give us the opportunity to meet all of our media and print deadlines, we need you to follow some simple
instructions. We also provided the necessary deadlines below. You can find this form on our website at
http://www.indiana.edu/~thtr/docs/bioForm.doc.

Deadlines
a. You have 48 hours to complete this form and turn it in.
b. We won’t send reminders about this.
c. We won’t accept bio forms after the deadline.
d. Faculty and Staff: Please provide us with a bio of no more than 150 words that highlights what
you would like the audience to know about you. We will provide reference to your online bio
and/or personal website.
e. You will have the opportunity to make changes to your bio.
i. We will write all student bios in order to fit our style.
ii. After we write all the bios for a particular production (see faculty instructions above), the
Word file will be circulated to everyone receiving a bio.
iii. You will have 24 hours to proofread your bio after we prepare it and send it by email. After proofing, please do not include any personal remarks, dedications, or
messages in your bio. They will be deleted.
iv. We will make corrections per feedback received in time. ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR
FEEDBACK FROM THIS PROOF, WE CONSIDER THE BIO APPROVED.

Length
a. Faculty = No longer than 150 words.
b. Student = No longer than 80 words.
c. Guest artists and M.F.A.Thesis student bios may be longer.
d. The bio form http://www.indiana.edu/~thtr/docs/bioForm.doc
e. It is important that you complete all the information requested.
f. You may provide a resume as a reference, but you must use the form.
g. We will update bios from previous records.

b. Please be sure to indicate the name of the show and the word BIO in the subject line. Please don’t
print this form. We are trying to save paper.

b. File specifications:
i. File size: No less than 500kb.
ii. Resolution: 200 dpi or higher.
iii. Please don’t stretch small files to fit these guidelines. It doesn’t work.
