Responding to the call of the President the following board members met in special session – Miss
Shoemaker, Mrs. Price, Mr. Campbell, Mr. Price and Mr. Vawter with Pres. Burtsfield in the chair.
The request of Mr. Scipio, representing the Men's Bible class of the M.E. Church for use of the upper
rooms each Sunday morning for the lesson hour was up for discussion, following which a motion
prevailed that the permission be granted.
It was further agreed that the expenses of the decorating and furnishing the rooms be taken up and
worked out at a later date to the satisfaction of both parties concerned.
